The information is not intended to be a substitute for professional medical advice. Before taking any action based on the information shared by the experts, we encourage you to speak with your own health provider, to ensure the information meets your individual physical and emotional situation.

While SATTRA takes care to ensure the yogis/yoga teachers provide information of the highest standard, SATTRA, its management, employees, agents and assigns, will not be liable for any loss or damage including without limitation, indirect or consequential loss or damage, for the information shared by the experts and used by you.

Further, by proceeding with the purchase of a service with SATTRA, you acknowledge and agree that, to the fullest extent of the law, you will release, indemnify and hold harmless SATTRA, its employees, agents and assigns from any and all losses, damages, expenses (including reasonable lawyer expenses) rights, claims, actions of any kind and injury (including psychological injury and death) arising out of your use of the SATTRA site, attendance at classes or one-on-one sessions, or your breach of the Terms and Conditions of SATTRA or other policies located on the SATTRA website.

I understand and agree to listen carefully and follow the teacher's instructions at all times and to take responsibility for my own body and movements. I fully understand and agree that SATTRA will not accept any liability of whatsoever nature arising in respect of any claim, damages, loss, injury or expenses suffered directly or indirectly by myself, arising out of or in connection with my (and any minors) participation in the classes.

The use of our services is governed by the following terms and conditions.  By purchasing the classes, you agree to comply with these terms and conditions.  SATTRA offers both group classes, or private classes with the yogis/yoga teachers and wellness specialists.  These terms and conditions apply to group and private classes, events, retreats and workshops unless otherwise specified.

1. Use of the SATTRA services

The information provided by the  yogis/yoga teachers and wellness specialists in the SATTRA community and any other information available through SATTRA classes, is presented solely for your personal and non-commercial use.

2. Respect for others

SATTRA firmly believes in the right of all persons to be treated with respect and dignity.  The group sessions and private consultations, events, retreats and workshops may touch upon material which can be sensitive for some participants, including yourself, and it is through providing a safe space for these discussions to occur that they and you may learn from the experience.  As such, SATTRA takes its obligations to its participants very seriously.

During each class or session you must treat each other participant and the yogis/yoga teachers and wellness specialists with respect and dignity.  Racist, homophobic, sexist and other derogatory or hate speech, harassment or threats to participants and/or the expert will not be tolerated and SATTRA reserves its right to remove you from a class if you engage in such behaviour.  If you are in a session with the yogis/yoga teachers and wellness specialists, they have the discretion to cease the session immediately.  In these circumstances no refund will be provided by SATTRA.  Depending upon the seriousness of the behaviour SATTRA reserves its rights to report the behaviour to the relevant authorities or take other action it sees as appropriate in its own discretion. In the event of a dispute between yourself and another participant, SATTRA has no liability or responsibility with respect to that dispute.

3. Confidentiality

In addition to the information that we collect on you, you may be exposed to personal and private information shared by the other participants in the classes. You agree that you will keep any such disclosure from another participant private and confidential, and will not share such information outside of the SATTRA services.

SATTRA does not consent to the use of recording devices during the classes or sessions by participants, however the classes may be recorded (non-corporate wellness classes) by SATTRA for access by other participants who were unable to complete the session.  In that case, SATTRA and the yogis/yoga teachers and wellness specialists will advise you if the class is being recorded.

If you are found to be recording any class or session you will be removed from the class or your session will be terminated, and you will be excluded from any further classes or sessions on SATTRA.  SATTRA reserves the right not to refund the class or session fee if this is the case.

4. Non-solicit by yogis/yoga teachers and wellness specialists

By providing their classes, sharing materials, providing their contact details for post-class communications or any ancillary actions, no yogis/yoga teachers and wellness specialists shall be deemed to be encouraging any member of the audience to seek consultation from him or her or any organisation with which they are associated.

5. Payment of services

SATTRA classes, sessions, workshops and retreats will be charged to your nominated credit card upon booking checkout or by PAYPAL.  You warrant that at all times you are the authorised card holder or have the authority to make the payment upon that credit card, and SATTRA  will not be held liable for any misrepresentations in this regard.  SATTRA takes no responsibility for any incorrect or missing card information and further is not responsible for any bank charges or fees that may be incurred on the credit card for any transactions undertaken on the SATTRA booking site or for the payment or refund of payment for an SATTRA class, session, workshop or retreat.

Full payment will be required prior to your attendance at the class or session (not applicable to Corporate wellness employees).  You must ensure that there is sufficient available funds or credit on your nominated credit card to pay for the session, and in the event of a failed payment or non-payment your booking will be cancelled.  SATTRA will not be held liable for any failure leading to the payment not being received by SATTRA or of any cancellation of the class under this clause.

6. Refund of payment

Classes or sessions may be cancelled according to the Cancellation and Refund Policy outlined below. All refunds will be processed to the nominated credit card that was used to make the payment.  No other method of refund will be considered.

SATTRA has the absolute discretion to offer a credit in certain circumstances rather than a refund.

SATTRA understands that sometimes life gets in the way of doing things we want to do!  In that case, you may need to cancel.

We allow cancellations up to 6 hours before the start of a booked Private Consultation or Group Session.  You may log onto the SATTRA site to Cancel or Rebook.  A full refund will be made to your nominated credit card in that case.

If the yogis/yoga teachers and wellness specialists are required to cease the class once it has started due to technical issues, the class will be rescheduled and credit will be provided if you cannot make that rescheduled class.  If, however, the class needs to be stopped due to the behaviour of another participant, SATTRA will offer you either a full refund or you may choose to attend another class.

If you have any problems with your booking please contact us at hello@sattrayoga.com

7. Change of terms and conditions

SATTRA may change these terms and conditions from time to time at its absolute discretion. By purchasing a class or session you agree to be bound by the version of the terms and conditions that is in force at the time.

8. Governing Law

The terms and conditions above are governed by the laws of Hong Kong.
